It’s rare to see a someone raise their dividend payout each year but Universal Insurance holding has been jumping its dividend payout each year for the last few years. hmmm… I’d hold back my comments and just stick to the stock data. UVE looks like it’s on its way to being a penny stock. As of 12/20/2009 UVE is trading at just 5.76 and has a 52 week trading range of 2.31 – 6.45.

Done any in-depth research lately on UVE? They are growing business like crazy and just paid 1 million to the state of Texas to write homeowner’s insurance there.
