In my opinion CHK is a solid dividend stock. They have been paying dividends since 1997 and have raised their dividend each year for the last 5 years. I hear Cramer talk about Chesapeake Energy a lot on his show Mad Money. You might want to tune in if you are looking for advice on the stocks.
As of Jan 1 2010 CHK was trading at 25.88 with an annual dividend of $.30 which gives it a annual yield of 1.1%. Not huge but at least it’s something. The Market cap is 16.76B and EPS is negative at -10.43.
